Coretx which has offices and a data centre in Poole, has bought 365IT .
The deal values the business at £5.4million. Coretx which provides cloud and managed IT services, was created from the acquisition of two business in early 2016 – Selection Services and the Westbourne-based C4L.

Company Focus: Siemens

Engineering giant Siemens in Poole – confirms commitment to the UK.
Siemens has around 500 manufacturing and administrative staff at Sopers Lane, Poole where it makes traffic lights and road signals. The company had written to its 14,000 UK staff ahead of last year’s EU referendum, setting out concerns about a vote to leave. But it subsequently said that it would be staying in the UK.

2,000 jobs are set to be created at a new ‘engineering excellence’ business park in a massive economy boost for Dorset. The Echo reported last month how building work was underway on a £2.5m project to create 20 new employment units at the Dorset Enterprise Zone at Winfrith.
