CAD Technician Job in Ferndown

Our client is a specialist within the manufacturing and construction industry. They are looking to recruit a new a CAD Technician. The role of the CAD Technician will be to work within their existing Contracts team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture
  • Producing drawings using AutoCAD
  • Preparing Technical and Sample submittals
  • Liaising with Contractors, Architects and End Users
  • Document management utilising online Intranet based document control systems
  • Preparation of associated documentation to ensure compliance
  • Liaison with manufacturing partners

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience within Construction Industry
  • Experience of working with AutoCAD
  • Focused team player
  • Commercially aware
  • Ability to work under pressure and to precise deadlines
  • Ability to instigate changes for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full product and system training will be provided
  • No known health risks for this role

Salary and Benefits:

  • A salary of £26,000 – £28,000 per annum
  • Annual performance related bonus
  • Monthly payment intervals
  • Working Monday – Friday – part time hours offered
  • Company pension scheme
