Business Development Executive – B2B SaaS
Location: Christchurch, Dorset (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £37,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission (OTE £52,000+)

A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team. Specialising in secure data transfer and workflow automation, this organisation works with some of the world’s best-known brands across finance, media, retail, engineering, and tech.
This role is ideal for an ambitious B2B sales professional with experience in the technology sector who thrives in a consultative sales environment. You’ll play a key part in identifying new opportunities, qualifying inbound leads, and contributing to a dynamic sales pipeline.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and engage new business prospects in the mid-market and enterprise space
- Support marketing initiatives and lead generation strategies
- Build pipelines via cold calling, email outreach, and sector insights
- Monitor inbound leads and ensure timely handover to the Sales team
- Schedule appointments for Account Managers and Sales colleagues
- Work collaboratively with Technical, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure an exceptional customer journey
- Represent the company at events, online user groups, exhibitions, and reseller visits
- Build target lists on LinkedIn and increase brand visibility
- Support smaller resellers in identifying opportunities
- Provide feedback to Marketing on customer trends and campaign performance
- Assist with tasks such as campaign tagging and internal processes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, in tech or software solutions
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Confidence in building rapport and engaging with prospects via phone, email and video
- Ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable using CRM tools and lead generation platforms
- Enthusiastic about contributing to company goals and client success
