Trainee Bookkeeper Job in Ringwood
Our client is a fast-growing services company based in Ringwood, known for their supportive team culture and focus on continuous improvement. As their business expands, they are looking for a flexible, adaptable, and positive individual to join their finance team as a Trainee Bookkeeper. Salary and Benefits
- A starting salary of £26,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday office working hours 8.00 am – 5.00 pm

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping and administration
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately using Xero
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end procedures
- Handle administrative duties, including:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Printing, scanning, filing, and document management
- Ordering and maintaining office stationery and supplies
- Supporting general office organisation and upkeep
- Communicate confidently with clients and suppliers by phone and email
- Adapt to new processes and technologies as the company grows
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, fast-paced office environment
Minimum Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science
- Strong communication and telephone skills
- High attention to detail with an adaptable and proactive attitude
- Positive mindset, eager to learn and take on new challenges
- Live within 40-minute commute from Ringwood
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in a changing environment
Desirable
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping or finance
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
- Previous experience in an administrative or service-focused role
