Trainee Office Administrator Job in Verwood | £25,000 + Training + Progression

We’re recruiting for a Trainee Office Administrator in Verwood to join a small, friendly business offering full training, structured support, and long-term progression opportunities.

This is an excellent entry-level role where you’ll develop skills across administration, customer service, and office support, while learning how a business operates day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Office Administrator, your duties will include:

  • Processing and monitoring customer orders
  • Raising invoices and handling credit notes
  • Answering incoming calls and assisting customers
  • Supporting Area Sales Managers
  • Managing stock transfers and sourcing products
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports (Excel)
  • Maintaining internal systems and records
  • Liaising with couriers and suppliers
  • Providing general office administration support

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong interest in administration or customer service careers
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills, especially on the phone
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • Good organisation skills and a proactive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and develop

Salary & Benefits

  • £25,000 starting salary
  • £100 annual allowance to spend on company products
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Free on-site parking
