About the Role
As a Graduate Technologist, you’ll support the technical team to bring exciting new personal care and household products to market. You’ll gain hands-on experience with product testing, quality processes, safety regulations and compliance, while working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll grow your skills and gain exposure to international supply chains, manufacturing, and retailer requirements. Occasional travel may be required.
Graduate Technologist Responsibilities
- Support technical product development projects across personal care and household categories
- Assist in checking product performance, compliance, and safety requirements
- Help prepare and update product specifications and documentation
- Review product packaging and labelling to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with international suppliers and internal teams to support smooth product launches
- Stay informed on innovations, materials, and ethical manufacturing practices
- Travel with your line manager to support trials, pre-production checks, and customer visits
What We’re Looking For
- A relevant degree (e.g. Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or related discipline)
- Around 6–12 months’ commercial experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment (e.g. internship, placement, or post-grad role)
- Enthusiasm for learning about product development, technical standards, and quality processes
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
