About the Role

If you’re the sort of person who likes getting things organised, solving problems and being the person everyone turns to when they need an answer, this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for a Project Administrator to support our client’s planning team. Working with landowners, solicitors, planning consultants and senior stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in keeping information flowing, coordinating activity and ensuring projects keep moving forward.

This is far more than a traditional administration role. You’ll quickly become a central point of contact within the team, helping to coordinate multiple live projects, manage important documentation and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

The team are looking for someone who can take ownership, use their initiative and bring structure to a busy environment. In return, you’ll gain exposure to major projects from their earliest stages, work closely with senior decision-makers and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on how the team operates.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Administrator

  • Liaising with landowners, solicitors, planning consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinating consultant appointments and tender documentation
  • Managing project information and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring drawings, reports and key project documents are complete, accurate and accessible
  • Raising purchase orders, processing invoices and supporting departmental finance administration
  • Producing reports, arranging meetings and coordinating team activities
  • Chasing actions, information and documentation through to completion
  • Supporting multiple projects simultaneously and helping to keep them on track
  • Acting as a key point of contact for project-related information

What We’re Looking For

For our Project Administrator, we’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and naturally spots things that need doing before being asked.

You’ll likely have experience in administration, project support or coordination and be confident communicating with a wide range of people both internally and externally.

You’ll also bring:

  • Previous experience within an administration, project support or coordinator role
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence to follow up actions and keep projects moving forward
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Why Apply?

This Project Administrator job in New Milton is an opportunity to become an important part of a highly visible team within the business.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure to projects from their earliest stages and become the person people rely on to keep things organised and moving forward.

Most importantly, you’ll be trusted.

Trusted to take ownership.

Trusted to improve processes.

Trusted to use your initiative.

Trusted to become the person the team turns to when they need things done properly.

If you’re looking for a role where you can make a genuine contribution rather than simply process paperwork, we’d love to hear from you.
