Illustrator Job in Ringwood (Portfolio required)
Onsite | 9am–5pm

Dovetail Recruitment are working with and award winning business in Ringwood, looking for an Illustrator to join them. They don’t just design packaging to support a product. They design objects people want to pick up, gift, and keep—and use food as the way to get it into customers’ hands. Think sculptural items, playful formats, and products that win on shelf because they look unlike anything else around them.

That’s why this role matters – this isn’t about producing safe, incremental artwork. It’s about contributing to ideas that become physical products on shelves globally—the kind customers buy on impulse because something about the design just clicks.

What you’ll be doing as Illustrator:

• This role is about designing for physical form, not just surface graphics—creating work that has to function as an object, stand out on shelf, and translate from concept through to production.
• Developing and sketching new product ideas and formats
• Translating concepts into flat artwork and 3D visuals
• Working closely with project managers to bring ideas through to production
• Refining designs based on feedback and commercial requirements
• Preparing artwork ready for print

What we’re looking for:

• Confidence across both digital and hand illustration
• Ability to think in form, not just surface graphics
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Driving licence and own transport

(Experience in packaging is useful, but not essential if your work shows the right kind of thinking and design examples.)
