Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £24,785 per annum
Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday (8:30am–5:00pm)
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term

We are recruiting a Centre Assistant / Front of House Coordinator in Fareham, Hampshire for a 6-month fixed term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, reception, office administration, or facilities coordination who is looking for a varied and people-focused role in a professional business centre environment.

As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class customer experience while supporting the smooth daily operation of a busy, modern serviced office centre.

This role is ideal for someone seeking Front of House jobs in Fareham, Facilities Assistant roles, or Customer Service Coordinator positions in Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Front of House & Customer Service:

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors
  • Deliver a professional, welcoming and friendly experience
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their teams
  • Support client onboarding and departures
  • Handle enquiries and day-to-day client requests
  • Support client events and engagement activities

Centre Operations & Facilities Support

  • Maintain high standards across the business centre at all times
  • Prepare offices and meeting rooms for client use
  • Ensure communal areas are clean, tidy and well-presented
  • Manage incoming post and deliveries
  • Replenish refreshments and office supplies
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed

Administration and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate occupancy and centre reports
  • Update records and internal systems
  • Assist with business rates administration and council correspondenc

About You

We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Hospitality
  • Retail
  • Reception / Front of House
  • Customer Service
  • Office Administration
  • Facilities Coordination
  • Serviced Offices / Business Centre Operations

You will also have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM systems or databases (desirable)
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High standards of personal presentation
  • A strong commitment to customer service excellence
