Dovetail Recruitment are recruiting a National Account Executive for their client in Christchurch. The business works with some of the biggest and best customers within the retail industry across the UK and internationally. These include premium retailers, discounters and fashion-led brands. The National Account Executive will join the largest category in the business which continues to be a key focus of the business. The team works with a clear divide and conquer approach, meaning individuals own their work and their accounts while also collaborating on projects. There’s a strong sense of accountability, but also support. Ideas are welcomed, and people are encouraged to think differently and creatively.

About the National Account Executive Job in Christchurch

The National Account Executive role combines account management, project management and commercial understanding. This is a busy role with plenty going on, but also one where you can see projects through to completion and build a strong foundation for your commercial career. You’ll work on projects that often run over several months, giving you visibility of the full process and the satisfaction of seeing finished products on shelves you recognise.

Initially, you’ll be supported by a buddy and mentoring system, giving you a solid understanding of how the business operates, before gradually taking on more independent responsibility alongside strategic account support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your own portfolio of customers, overseeing projects from product concept through to launch
• Research and build costings, pricing and RRPs
• Research new customers the business could approach using the existing product range
• Attend weekly internal meetings to track progress and manage timelines
• Take the lead on project planning, managing resources and key relationships
• Work towards shared and individual KPIs
