 Operations Manager Job in Poole

Our client is a successful FMCG specialist, who provide a range of services to help brands achieve maximum profitability and exposure, from startups to household names. Their focus is identifying opportunities and delivering a unique experience to brands. They work closely and with brand owners to deliver the best results for them, with most brands in the FMCG category, specifically grocery. Our client is on the lookout for an Operations Manager to drive operational excellence. This Operations Manager role requires strategic oversight and hands-on management, ensuring operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to optimize processes and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance productivity and ensure operational excellence
  • Lead the operations team
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient warehouse operations, and timely replenishment
  • Drive the creation and management of custom pack formats, overseeing every aspect from sourcing materials to process management
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to forecast demand, create P&Ls for brands, and identify actionable insights for business growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery
  • Lead problem-solving efforts, addressing operational challenges, and implementing strategic solutions
  • Develop new and enhance existing operational systems, processes, SOPs, and policies in support of the organization’s mission and to improve operational efficiency

Minimum Experience and Skills Required for the Operations Manager:

  • Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within an Amazon or e-commerce environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, logistics, supply chain and inventory management
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with a relentless drive for excellence and improvement
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel

Salary and Benefits:

  • A salary of £35,000 – £50,000 per annum
