Chief Commercial Officer Job in Dorset

Your Role:

As Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead and inspire a team of three Commercial Directors while fostering strong relationships with major UK and international retailers. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on leadership to drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a bold, results-driven commercial strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Take full P&L ownership of the Group’s commercial operations, steering £150m+ in international sales.
  • Strengthen and expand key retail and grocery partnerships, identifying new market opportunities to accelerate revenue and market share growth.
  • Set and monitor commercial KPIs, ensuring sustained profitability and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Finance to optimise pricing, margins, and cost structures.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing commercial team across the UK, Asia, and South Africa.
  • Report directly to the Board, providing strategic insights and progress updates.

What You Bring:

  • A proven track record of driving commercial strategy and business growth at scale.
  • Experience leading commercial operations in a £50m+ revenue environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Director, CCO, or similar leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, particularly within retail and grocery sectors.
  • A results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and quality.
