Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 + OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Internal Sales Executive
Are you confident building relationships, generating new business, and working towards sales targets?
We’re recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join a busy manufacturing business in Ferndown. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer relationship management who enjoys speaking with clients, identifying opportunities, and helping drive business growth.
Working as part of a supportive sales team, you’ll play a key role in developing relationships with contractors, architects, specifiers, and commercial customers, helping to convert enquiries and quotations into orders.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary of £27,000 – £30,000 per annum
- On-target earnings available
- Monday to Friday working hours
- 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers
- Build relationships with contractors, architects, specifiers, and commercial clients
- Generate new business opportunities and identify potential projects
- Follow up quotations and sales enquiries to maximise conversions
- Work towards individual sales targets and KPIs
- Support the external sales team by arranging appointments and providing sales information
- Liaise with estimating teams to ensure quotations are issued promptly
- Send product information, technical specifications, and samples to customers
- Maintain accurate records using the CRM system
- Handle inbound sales enquiries and customer requests
About You
- Previous experience in Internal Sales, Sales Executive, Business Development, Account Management, Telesales, or Customer Sales roles
- Confident making outbound calls and developing new business relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Motivated by targets, performance, and achieving results
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Able to work effectively within a team environment
